My love of classic and rare movies is almost overbearing. I adore The actresses, actor’s, writer’s and director’s who put them together. My favorite films span from silent era to the 70’s. Although I am a huge Meryl Streep fan and The Hours might actually be my favorite all time film. That’s hard to say. I do however see many films of my era…but with the exception of a few, I don’t enjoy them as much. I have obsessions with actors and actresses due to my theatre background. One performance might catch my eye and then I haft to see everything they’ve done (Claudette Colbert, Greer Garson, Grayson Hall, Dame Judith Anderson, Deborah Kerr…and the list goes on) I love finding inspirational performances. Performances that make me want to get up there and do my thing (Thankyou Grayson Hall and Katharine Hepburn…) I will also talk a lot about my favorite tv shows (Dark Shadows and I don’t mean the crappy reboot from the 90’s)…I love Dr. Julia Hoffman even if it’s just a quote or a fun picture. I am no real critic, although entitled to my own opinion. Im also a crappy writer…but that’s not stopping me ;)
I have a feeling I will be failing my 6 Months (300 movie bet) because I can’t stop watching Murder She Wrote and my beloved Dark Shadows…Jessica Fletcher and Dr. Julia Hoffman HAVE TAKEN’ OVER!! Kick Ass!
Grayson Hall…I made a whole bunch of GIF’S from End of the Road…Do I dare post them…Oh I will. Make Barnabas Collins realize that he should have given Dr. Julia more of a loving chance…Working on them. Spicy… ;)
Dark Shadows Bloopers…I believe both of these occurred in the same episode. Professor Timothy Stokes gets a good look at Dr. Julia Hoffman’s Garter (look carefully :P) and then he’s so excited he walks into the end credits…Surely the man didn’t know what to do with himself :p
Oh Julia and her games…did she ever accidentally do that for Barnabas! RATS!
